COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY NOTICE

Bijou Writes Literary Universes, a creative imprint of F.L.O.A.T ENT., a DBA of F.L.O.A.T Consulting

All literary works published, displayed, distributed, serialized, or otherwise made available under Bijou Writes, including but not limited to novels, serialized stories, episodes, manuscripts, essays, reflections, poetry, dialogue, characters, fictional universes, story concepts, original artwork, graphics, supplemental materials, and other original creative content, are proprietary works of F.L.O.A.T ENT., a DBA of F.L.O.A.T Consulting, as applicable, and are authored and/or published under the literary name Bijou. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all applicable copyright and intellectual-property rights in these works are reserved.

PERSONAL READING ACCESS ONLY

Access to Bijou Writes content, whether provided through free Explorer access, a paid subscription, promotional access, or another authorized method, grants the reader a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and read the content for personal use only. Access does not constitute the sale or transfer of ownership, copyright, publication rights, adaptation rights, licensing rights, or any other intellectual-property rights in the work.

PROHIBITED USE

Without prior written authorization from Bijou and/or F.L.O.A.T ENT., no Bijou Writes work, in whole or in substantial part, may be: copied, downloaded for redistribution, reproduced, republished, distributed, transmitted, sold, resold, uploaded, shared, publicly displayed, publicly performed, recorded, adapted, translated, dramatized, modified, excerpted beyond legally permitted uses, commercially exploited, or incorporated into another work or product. This prohibition includes unauthorized distribution through websites, social-media platforms, newsletters, blogs, e-books, print publications, file-sharing services, subscription platforms, databases, applications, podcasts, videos, audiobooks, courses, or other digital or physical media. Subscription or free-reader access may not be shared, resold, transferred, or used to provide unauthorized access to protected works.

1 AI, DATASET & AUTOMATED USE

Except where otherwise permitted by applicable law, Bijou Writes content may not be intentionally copied, scraped, harvested, compiled, or supplied by a user to train, fine-tune, develop, benchmark, or create datasets for artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems without prior written authorization. No permission is granted to use these works to create unauthorized derivative literary works, character reproductions, adaptations, or commercial content represented as originating from or being affiliated with Bijou Writes, Bijou, F.L.O.A.T ENT., or F.L.O.A.T Consulting.

CHARACTERS, STORIES & LITERARY UNIVERSES

The original expression embodied in Bijou Writes stories—including original text, character development, fictional settings, narrative structures, dialogue, poems, serialized episodes, and interconnected literary universe materials—is protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual-property law. No access to a Bijou Writes work should be interpreted as permission to reproduce, continue, adapt, publish, commercialize, or otherwise exploit the protected expression contained within that work.

NO IMPLIED LICENSE

Nothing appearing on the Bijou Writes website, within a Bijou Writes publication, or through an Explorer, Storykeeper, Luminary, promotional, complimentary, or other access level grants an implied license to use the works beyond the personal access expressly provided. Any permission to reproduce, adapt, license, distribute, perform, publish, or otherwise use protected Bijou Writes material must be obtained in writing from the appropriate rights holder.

UNAUTHORIZED USE

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, publication, adaptation, commercial exploitation, or other infringement of protected Bijou Writes content may result in suspension or termination of access and may result in enforcement of available legal rights and remedies. F.L.O.A.T Consulting, F.L.O.A.T ENT., and the applicable author/rightsholder expressly reserve all rights and remedies available under applicable copyright, contract, trademark, and other laws. Failure to immediately enforce a right against one unauthorized use does not constitute a waiver of that right or permission for future use.

REQUESTING PERMISSION

Requests to quote, reproduce, license, adapt, publish, perform, distribute, or otherwise use Bijou Writes material beyond ordinary personal reading should be submitted to F.L.O.A.T ENT. / Bijou Writes for written authorization before use. 2 Permission is not granted unless expressly provided in writing.

Access is permission to read the story—not permission to take it.
